This course is intended for all new officers/leaders. It replaces the previous “Officer Training”, this training is normally run over 3 Saturdays, one per month.

Youth Leader Training

Price: £5

This session is a compulsory requirement if your company intend to introduce under 5’s. duration is half day and normally run within the 3rd day of YLT above. If attended as part of YLT then there is no charge

Working with Under 5s

Price: £5

Need to understand drill better or have those niggles of concern, then this is the course for you.
Uniform will be worn.

Drill Instructor Training

Price: £10

Compulsory requirement, if you are responsible for taking members away on any holiday or sleep over then this is minimum requirement.

Holiday Leadership

Price: £10

Compulsory requirement if you are responsible for a canvas holiday, this is required in addition to Holiday Leadership

Camp Craft

Price: £10

Required for all new or future Captains, also ideal for any officer acting as Officer In Charge of a section, in fact any person wanting to gain a better understanding of Brigade. Enough said.

Captains Training

Price: £5

All members must attend this course to complete their Leadership Award. Once attended and on completion of all other badges they become eligible for their Presidents Badge which can lead onto the Queens badge

Building Your Skills (Grade III Leadership)

Price: £5

Compulsory element for any Queens Badge Member, this is required prior to the QB Completion course.
